Now the things are getting better. About five hours are spent in class and the time for homework had been reduced two hours. So that they have eight hours＇ sleep and also two more hours to do whatever they like.

比賽開(kāi)始。首先，是兩位主持人一番簡(jiǎn)短的'介紹，然后選手開(kāi)始挨個(gè)兒上臺(tái)。每個(gè)人都有一份課件，上面是演講內(nèi)容，選手要流暢地背出稿子，才能得高分。他們一口流利的英語(yǔ)，聽(tīng)得我云里霧里。我不由得感嘆道，這就是差距��！不過(guò)根據(jù)課件上的英文，我還是認(rèn)出了一些單詞。
選手的情況也不同：有的一口英語(yǔ)說(shuō)得頭頭是道，聽(tīng)得人一愣一愣的；有的上了臺(tái)過(guò)于緊張，忘了詞，又下來(lái)整理整理思緒再上臺(tái)；也有的背得不錯(cuò)，卻出了一點(diǎn)小插曲的……可謂是千姿百態(tài)。
選手們講的內(nèi)容各不相同：有的流暢地講了那些經(jīng)典的故事；有的介紹了自己喜歡的動(dòng)物或東西；還有的講了自己從一句話或者一件事中感悟的道理……內(nèi)容各不相同。
